Transfers, Cancellations, Refunds, & Late Scheduling Policies
At EEC, we are a small team of two with families. We take pride in providing a personalized educational experience and ongoing support to our students. Last-minute scheduling, transfers, & cancellations significantly impact our ability to operate effectively. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to honoring the following policies:
Confirmation:
Due to limited availability, we cannot confirm a course seat or lodging reservation until payment is made in full. We encourage purchasers to use the online payment method for “immediate confirmation.”
Official changes to your scheduled course can only be made by submitting a Transfer, Cancellation & Refund Request Form. Please note: Email is not an acceptable form of notification.
Transfers:
Students may transfer their registration to an open seat in a future course by submitting a “Transfer, Cancellation & Refund Request Form.”
There are no fees for transfer requests made 31 or more days before the course start date.
Requests received within 30 days of the course start date will be considered a “cancellation” and are subject to our refund policy.
Booking Service for Lodging:
As a courtesy to our attendees, we may assist in arranging accommodations or provide recommendations for local lodging options. Please note that these accommodations are independently owned and operated. Environmental Energy Consultants, LLC (its entities, representatives, and associates), are not affiliated with and do not endorse or guarantee the services, amenities, or quality of any third-party accommodation providers. All booking arrangements are made directly between the attendee and the accommodation provider.
Environmental Energy Consultants, LLC (its entities, representatives, and associates) assume no responsibility or liability for issues, disputes, inconveniences, or charges (incidental, damage, cleaning, or otherwise) that may arise or result during your stay. We encourage you to review all terms and conditions with the accommodation provider before booking.
Lodging reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment is received in full.

Refunds:
A 100% refund (less processing fees) will be granted for cancellations made at least 31 days before the course start date for courses / check-in date for lodging reservations.
A 50% refund (less processing fees) will be granted for cancellations made between 30 and 14 days before the course start date for courses / check-in date for lodging reservations.
No refunds will be granted for transfer or cancellation requests made within 14 days of: the course start date for courses / check-in date for lodging reservations.
We do not offer refunds for virtual/digital courses, services, or similar products.
Last-Minute Scheduling:
To ensure proper scheduling, adequate preparation, and compliance with certification timelines, EEC requires individuals seeking recertification to contact us more than 30 days before their current certification expiration date.
Any individual who contacts us to schedule recertification within 30 calendar days of their certification’s expiration date may be subject to an additional late scheduling fee of up to 100% of the cost of the recertification training, exam fees, and exam proctor fees.
